LEADING ANALYST FIRM EVALUATES INTALIO IN FIRST TAKE

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — January 10, 2006 — Intalio, Inc., The Open Source BPMS Company, today announced that leading analyst firm Gartner published a First Take on Intalio. The document, authored by Janelle B. Hill and Nikos Drakos, is titled "Intalio Boosts BPMS Usage With Open-Source-Like License". It follows Intalio's recent announcement to release the entire Intalio|BPMS product under an Open Source license.

According to the report, "users wanting support for business process management (BPM) initiatives would have to rely on commercial BPMS vendors. As the technology matured — and market acceptance increased — prices climbed, making it difficult for novices to get hands-on experience in requisite BPM technology skills"

"BPM is one of the last industry sectors to have seen the emergence of a credible Open Source alternative," said Ismael Ghalimi, Intalio founder and CEO. "While we went from 12 to over 100 customers last year, we still have a lot of room to grow, and we are extremely pleased to have been covered by Gartner at such an early stage in the game."
